‘NSYNC Announces Reunion for “Trolls Band Together” Soundtrack with New Song “Better Place”: Release Date and Trailer Revealed

In a long-awaited moment for fans, the iconic five-member boy band ‘NSYNC has come together for a musical reunion as they contribute a song titled “Better Place” to the soundtrack of “Trolls Band Together.” The exciting news was unveiled early on Thursday, September 14, along with the release of a new trailer for the upcoming animated sequel.

“Better Place,” a track that seems to carry the same upbeat energy as ‘Trolls’ hit single “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” and ‘Trolls World Tour’s opening number “The Other Side,” is already available for pre-saving. However, eager fans will have to wait until September 29th for its official release.

This musical endeavor marks ‘NSYNC’s first release since 2002 when they dropped the Neptunes remix of “Girlfriend,” featuring Nelly. Just a few days ago, the group, consisting of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass, made a surprise appearance together at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, where they presented the award for Best Pop to Taylor Swift for her song “Anti-Hero.” Their previous VMAs appearance was in 2013 during Justin Timberlake’s Video Vanguard Award performance.

Speculation about ‘NSYNC’s reunion had been swirling following the appearance of Trolls Band Together posters in New York, featuring the iconic first letter of the ‘NSYNC logo and a QR code. The QR code led fans to the website TakeYouToABetterPlace.com, where a teaser for the catchy pop tune awaited. In the upcoming film, Justin Timberlake reprises his role as the troll Branch, alongside Anna Kendrick as Poppy. The movie’s plot revolves around Branch reuniting with his childhood boy band, BroZone, and in the film, Timberlake’s bandmates are voiced by Troye Sivan, Eric André, Daveed Diggs, and Kid Cudi.

During their heyday in the late ’90s and early 2000s, ‘NSYNC released four studio albums, including 1997’s self-titled debut, 1998’s “Home for Christmas,” 2000’s “No Strings Attached,” and 2001’s “Celebrity.”

Fans can catch the highly anticipated “Trolls Band Together” when it hits theaters on November 17th.
